Hi, my name is Emma. It’s nice to meet you!

I moved to Tanzania in 2023 and now serve as an affiliate teacher/trainer at Lake Victoria Christian College (LVCC). I may be called a teacher, but I see myself as a perpetual student. Learning is one of my favorite pastimes, whether it’s from a class, a book, or a friend at a coffee shop. I love writing down my thoughts, studying God’s Word, drinking coffee, and making tacos. My tortillas are never round, so identifying what they look like is part of the fun.

As the musician Chris Renzema puts it, “Somewhere between the righteous and the rambling is where I find myself standing.” If you have stumbled upon this page, I hope you enjoy my somewhat chaotic look at life, but most importantly, in every word, I hope you see the heart of my Savior.
